The 2024 Roslyn Marching Bulldogs present, “Equilibrium.”
As portrayed through the inner monologue of our narrator, we reflect on a fundamental question: How do we find balance in life?
Our story is told by two opposing forces fighting for dominance:
Chaos, which is colored in black, is represented by our percussion section.
Calm, colored in white, is represented by our winds section.
In our production, we take the audience on a journey to find equilibrium in a world depicted as extreme opposites, each side only significant because the other exists. These forces are further impacted by the catalysts to our story:
Tension, who is colored green, aims to disrupt the harmony between our two forces.
Balance, colored silver, aims to unify Chaos and Order.
Through Balance we learn that these opposite forces are not enemies—that through collaboration, they can achieve equilibrium. However, tension is always there to try and drive them apart.
